Know the basics

SCRA: check your situation.

These are legal protections with specific conditions. They are not LFG incentives or new-loan offers.

Qualifying orders

Some auto leases can end early.

SCRA may allow an eligible lease to end without an early-termination penalty when it was signed before a call to active duty lasting at least 180 days, or during active duty before qualifying PCS or deployment orders.

Qualifying PCS routes include CONUS to OCONUS and OCONUS to a new location. A CONUS-to-CONUS move alone does not qualify under this rule. Eligible deployment orders are generally for at least 180 days.

Written notice, proof of orders, vehicle return within 15 days after notice, and other requirements apply. Unpaid amounts and certain fees may still be owed.

A cap on qualifying pre-service debt.

SCRA may limit interest on eligible debt incurred before military service to 6% during covered service. This can include a qualifying existing auto loan; it is not a promised rate for a new loan.

Request the benefit from the creditor with written notice and qualifying proof of service. The request deadline is generally no later than 180 days after military service ends. Eligibility and timing matter.

Is this only for active duty?

No. LFG Salute welcomes adult inquiries from active-duty servicemembers, National Guard members, reservists, veterans, retirees, military spouses, and adult family members. Manufacturer incentives have separate eligibility rules.

Can I start while overseas or planning a move?

LFG Salute welcomes initial conversations from the U.S. or overseas. Share only a general location and timing preference. Remote completion, registration, transaction requirements, shipping, or delivery would need to be confirmed for the specific vehicle and transaction.

What is the New Car Program?

LFG Salute helps the military community explore new vehicles with personal guidance from the LFG Auto team. Vehicle availability, approval, fees, and terms vary. Review the full quote before deciding.

Do I need military documents to ask a question?

No. An initial conversation does not require military ID, a DD214, orders, a Social Security number, or operational details. Please do not send those details by text. Verification is brand specific. Taylor will send the verification steps for your selected brand when needed.

Does SCRA mean every PCS ends a lease or guarantees a 6% new-loan rate?

No. Auto-lease termination depends on the type of orders, lease timing, and required steps. The interest cap concerns qualifying pre-service debt. Check the official guidance above and speak with military legal assistance about your situation.
